Ready for 8K TV?

Well. But Local tv broadcasts don't have 4K and 8k. Some Amazon and Netflix player devices have it. Less energy that standard HD.

Right, many stations are not ready but you can buy converter to "up" convert to 4k. Remember back the old day where you can get SD DVD to upconvert to HD show?

There isn't enough bandwidth to support 4K and 8K for local stations.

Nearly all local stations use 720p or 1080i for broadcasting and TV channels use 720p or 1080i.

Directv offer PPV movies in 1080p.

I don't need both 4K and 8K. I prefer 1080p over standard definition.
You do realize that 4k and 8k means more pixel per screen, right? This means 1080p looks like it was made in 1999.

Let me put it this way:

4K is huge difference if you have smaller screen like 24 inches but not much difference with larger screen, but it does help maintain the crispness with extremely larger screen (over 80 inches).

With limited income, I take 1080p, at least, it is better than 480i/480p that was common in TV channels and older games, but PC games usually have higher resolution for many years.

I'm glad I didn't buy 4k hdtv (currently 1080/240) and my next tv would be 8k for sure......hopefully 8k hdtv price goes down on black friday
