Hello Everyone!

hello everyone! My name is Holly. I am married with 3 kids. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. About 5 years ago I had a colosteotoma (or however you spell it). They weren't sure if it was a tumor or a cyst. What was supposed to be a 45min- 1 hour surgery turned into 6. I can now stick my pinky finger half way in my ear either way. I constantly hear the ocean! Which is annoying at times and soothing at others. My ears ring easy. Anyway... I am supposed to wear hearing aids but I can't stand how it feels like people are yelling at me or I can't hear at all. Good thing for my dogs alerting me to people coming or sounds I dont hear. I would be lost and in fear it wasn't for them! So that's some about me!

Hi ! That has be awful hearing sounds all the time , it sound like you have tinnitus . This can be treated with biofeedback , I am not sure what that the success rate it but I heard it help some people. I know what you mean about being lost without your dogs , I had a hearing dog and also let me know if people were outside or behind while walking. I would love to see photos of your pets . What kind of dogs and cats do you have.
