Our vet used to call that "the thumbprint of God." It's common on all-white cats with two color eyes. We had a white cate with one blue eye and one gold eye, and she had the thumbprint. (Those eyes were also called "port and starboard lights" because when a flashlight shone on them one reflected green and one reflected red like a ship's port and starboard lights.)One of those kittens was playing with a black marker.
Supposedly, the cats without the thumbprint are deaf.
