Too bad they do not use wife's last two ss number first before husband if hers is small number. Oh well.

We have not got it yet which it should be last Friday May 9th but then again after I read about it. It may take 1 day to 2 weeks for Fed to send tax rebate to us thru direct deposit. We will wait and see.

Good for you!! I became 100% CC debt free since Dec.. I no longer carry balance, I pay it off in full each month.. I use the card to earn reward point (more free $$ and interest free loan)..

I personally don't like credit card, I had to use it if it is really neccessary such as my daughter's braces and emergency need. I don't believe in using CC for personal needs. Save up money and buy later is what we are supposed to. Be wise..

I'm glad that you make good use of rebate checks to invest.

Yeah. CC gives us more protection than cash and check in case there a problem with purchase. I just recently cashed out 35,000 points which bank sent me cool $350 check.. Nothing wrong with using CC as long it is paid in full each month.. I take advantage of that 30-40 days interest free (billing cycle) while my money sitting in bank earning interest until "bill" comes.

I rather take advantage of the bank than the bank take advantage of me!!

That depends entirely on the order of the names that were listed on the return. I had always prepared the taxes so my name was listed 1st, my husband's 2nd, so the stimulus check was paid according to MY ss #.

All I know is ...tax rebate

If you are single with no husband no kids ...are on SSI get $300.00
If you are single with no husband no kids ...are on SS get $600.00
If you are single with no husband no kids ...are on SSD get $600.00

If you are married with no kids ...are $1,200.00
If you are married with one kid ...are $1,500.00
If you are married with two kid ...are $1,800.00

It depends on how many kids you have you get more money.

That depends on their incomes.. My best friend is married with 2 kids and he did not get rebates due to their incomes excess $150,000. (he is manager and his wife is sale director).

30 YEARS?!?!?!?!?!?! You sure it is not a house loan??? They got to be CRAZY to be paying minimum payments!!

Tell your sister to pay as much they can to CC, that will short their CC time. If they dont have job or anything and CC is causing them to choose between Food or Medicine, they should consider filing bankrupty (I dont recommend it unless it is causing them HARDSHIP)..
