Refinancing?
Our house mortgage is so high and we would like to refinance but do we have to live at our house for a certain length of time before we can do that? We keep getting a lot of offers in the mail to refinance our house and it looks so tempting but I think it is too soon. Anyone have any suggestions or experiences to share? Tips?

Shel,
My advice in these troubled times, is to stay where you are now. Getting a new refinanced mortgage, while it can lower your payments and interest paid. It can also have a reverse effect. You could actually end up paying more than you are now in the long run. It could add points to your mortgage. Right now, you can afford your mortgage, in this unstable economy, with jobs laying off, I would be very very very weary of messing with my mortgage. Just my .02 cents. |

Interest Rates follows U.S. 10 years bonds. If the 10 years bonds goes down, the interest rates goes downs.
Right now if you check the 10 years bonds on the stocks, you will notice it has gone done since Thursday. Good chance to take opportunity to refinance. Who knows when will it go up again. Mod Edit: No advertising allowed. Contact webmaster(at)alldeaf.com if you have any questions. |

I think he done a great job with what he knew and did his best. It is not president's fault what economy does, it just goes in cycles and it involves everybody. It mostly rests on people and companies. If you really want to blame someone, a good one would be thoes that gave out loans that people really cannot afford.
