Any suggest to get a lawyer whom
can patient with deaf father to communcate instead of having lawyer who have no patient with deaf father with not enough communcate to know what is going on and how to process for legal custody of his child. Please help! In Lafayette, Louisiana.
I remember there were good service for deaf to get everything information from lawyer or so but I lost the contact business card. =( Thanks! Chela |

where are you from? are you paying the lawyer who is giving you a hard time? depending on where you live there are resources to find a lawyer who is familiar with deaf. it is also worthwhile reporting this guy to the state bar association. they can censure him

dude, getting a lawyer to actually provide an interpreter when they know full and well they have to pay for the services is the whole reason its impossible for the deaf to get fair representation anywhere.
Lawyers know how to lie, whom to lie to and when to lie. They know how to manipulate their clients. The deaf are easy prey. Someone needs to really really work on correcting this. |
