Talking Gender Wars over baby's sex?

I'm 14 weeks pregnant. My husband hope that our baby is going to be a boy! But I want to have a girl baby. It's Gender War time until 6 weeks left to go!!! I can't wait to see ultrasound with my baby's gender will be.

Do you have experience with gender wars during pregnancy?? I thought it was fun to tease each other.

When I had my kids, they didn't give ultrasounds unless they suspected something wrong, so you really guessed until the very end.

I remember playing some kind of game where a friend of our dangled a weight on a string over my abdomen while I layed on the floor. She said it would be a girl and it was!

Both my children were girls, and I don't remember that we cared.

My mother in law wanted them to be boys and was quite disappointed. Luckily a few years later my sister in law had two boys, and it meant the in laws visit them more.

Yay!!

It's always fun to tease each other regarding the gender of the baby... I wouldn't take offense in any way...

I'd really prefer boys. Maybe it's just I'm a big softie and I'm afraid I'll be suckered into my daughter's whims while, with a boy, it's that much easier to beat some sense into him

Everyone always has an opinion. Then, when the baby arrives, he or she is just what they wanted.

I understand that everyone's decide rather to know or surprise until baby's birth. For me and my husband both agreed want to know what is our gender will be. Because of baby's shower, and color scheme and clothes. I love to tease on my husband about GIRL RULE and BOY drooling! Hehe The most his side family's first birth babies are girls more than boys are last. In my both side family's give baby birth boys first than girls. We will wait and see it. This is my first time to become mother soon.

The ultrasound is great technology than before. My friends told me about their gender babies' legs closed and not want to show what is the gender.

My first son was one of those babies who would not open his legs. His gender was a surprise for us. Our second son was more cooperative so we knew that he was a boy long before his arrival.

My sister wanted to know. When she was carrying my nephew, he cooperated and she knew around the 20th week of pregnancy (I'm guessing because it's been awhile since her kids have been born! ) When she was carrying my niece, she again wanted to know and found out in her second trimester. Once she knew of the sexes, she informed family and friends.

I don't think there was ever any wars about the gender of both kids, but boy, was there arguments about baby names!

LoL! That's true. I didn't like my husband idea to give name for boy. I like the boy name. We decided the name for girl. But not boy yet. Ugh!

Thank you. I had morning sickness 4 times during first trimester. The most time nauseous. The doctor gave me the medicine for anti-nausea. I felt so much better. I drank "the morning wellness Ginger Tea" daily. It helping me to reduce the nausea.
