Hi and welcome to AllDeaf.
If you have your parents' full names and last-known city/town/township of their residency. If they aren't listed in the directory, look up the list with your last name in the same or next to the town, it is possible they are related to you. There is PeopleFinders.com that would allow you to see possible/close relatives/associates to your parents. The site is not free to use, but you can see the names and try finding them in the phone directory. Best luck on finding your parents. ![]() Btw, go Purdue Boilmakers! Several of my relatives were educated at the main campus in WLaf.

Do you have a copy of your birth certificate? It should mention the names of your parents since you wasn't adopted. Also it would tell you your birthplace if you don't already know. It should be easier to find your father as women change their last name when they get married. Good luck!

My birth father was very pissed off when I found him.
Some parents may be happy and others may not be.Since I was adopted, they place all birth certificates in the capitol so you may want to contact Birth Registry in your state capitol. They have websites so you can look for it. I got my birth certificate from applying online for one so that was how I got mine. It does not list their phone numbers though. Good luck |

Do contact the capitol office and ask them what to do. They can guide you to the appropriate department. |

Great! Once you get your birth certificate, you will know the names of your parents and your birthplace. Try look up your parents in your birthplace first then go outside your birthplace. Good luck! I hope your parents will not be upset that you found them.
By the way, after finding your parents, you should ask them for medical information like what tends to run in either parents' family - like cancer, diabetes, etc. Important to know so you can watch out for those problems in your life.

Good luck on finding all the information you wanted. I hope you won't be disappointed or hurt, if it doesn't work out the way you hoped.
