Well, why a mother let newspaper to spread out to public then? It look like she is sort of "bragging" to show up how her "discipline" works on her daughter. She wants everyone judge her daughter... but me,, not... I JUDGE a mother, not daughter. Why? She ASK for it.

I would not spread my child out to the newspapers for everyone to judge her daughter after punish her harsh to the public... ***goose pumps***

I would not tell parents to do with their children because what they did is PRIVATELY... We share our discipline on our kids what good or bad...and respect each other, not judge each other...

I can image how a daughter feel after read the newspaper on next day... *googe pump* I feel want to hug her.

I meant the Hustler editorial viewpoint. Their magazine does NOT care about abused children. Americans has no choice and have to register when they search 18 years old which different as Germany or any countries....

Americans register but they can continue their education, no problem. Registering does not prevent them from attending college, getting jobs, whatever.

I think you best take few steps backwards and look at the whole picture. I have seen as young as 8 years old that is BRAT, TYRANY, and OUT OF CONTROL. Once the child gets out of control, sometimes firm or extreme discipline is needed. Believe it or not we have murderer who is only 7 years old and it happened just an hour south of where I live! I can't forget the name of that flame red head boy, it is Eric Smith Back then was 7 years old killed 5 years old Derrick. That happened about 11 years ago. Thats real extreme, and the world blamed on parents for doing nothing about it! Is that a fact? I don't think so, something must have gone haywired down the road.
Who am I blame to, for this tragedy? My answer is EVERYBODY!

What this mother did was NOT harsh punishment. It was not even in abuse category at all! I am sorry, but I stand behind this mother all the way! She had done great deal to make difference in her daughter's life for better. Just watch, I can bet you that this girl will have blessing life later on! That is her reward for having best mother who is firm believer in discipline.

Spreading word can have positive impact on other kids. This will enable other parents think and suggest their kids if they don't act up, they will do this (Showing newspaper to their kids). I am sure that this will work on some brats. And these newspaper can have lasting reminder of this daughter the true world of consequences.

She used to be play basketball team, she quitted. I tried to encourage her to go back to basketball. She dont want to. She just dont want to do anything and be lazy. Her hobbies are listening music.. Its not too much, we are living in high cost living.. our economy in Minnesota are horrible. But Mack and Mallory managed so well to find something else than spend silly thing. Amy just bought whole her money on candies or junk food. I encouraged her to save to buy her favorite Cds.. She doesnt care.. always expected us to buy for her. Most kids around here gets 20-30 or 50 per week. That's why Amy is upset..

I already answered my previous post to correct my mistake because I thought it´s only mental hospital which it´s not. It´s up to Germans to choose which civil servant/duty they want to pick to work for 9 months.

As what you mean severe disabled people who are unable to work rest of their life. I saw a lot of disabled people work for "warehouse" to do with woods, wrap the papers, etc. etc. They get special apartment for disabled - Government pays their rents, utility used & foods. They sells crafts every twice a year - summer and christmas... their crafts are very beautiful... they sells to support their life. We went there to buy anything from them every summer at BBQ party.

Yes, they receive special benefit from medical rehabiliation benefit & also more children benefit. If the parents who want to keep their severe disabled children then they will receive special benefit to take care of their severe disabled children and also get very low tax pay, too. (one of married partners go to work - pay very low tax.) - if there're single mother of severe disabled children, then get more special benefit than married couples. If the parents can't cope to take care of their disabled children then put them to nursing home - special benefit money and children support benefit go to nursing home to take care of their disabled children. Depend how much married couple's income - they have to pay % to add special benefit and children support benefit (they count how much they pay tax because they pay very low tax to meet nursing home's cost).

We (every parents) recieved monthly children support benefit from government where the taxpayers go to, to develop our children's future but with severe disabled children, they get more than us.

I will be glad to explain you again if you don't understand what I mean.

7 years old killed his own brother Derrick?... It sounds that he´s jealous of his brother? It look like that he has very low esteem and feel being worthless and began jealous of his brother who get a lot of attention from their parents?

Disagree: Did you know what public humiliation is? Of course it´s not discipline but harsh punishment. To me, public humiliation is a pathetic and bullying on child´s self-esteem. It´s an emotional abuse. No she will never learn her lesson but her behavior will back again anytime... then worst and worst...

Don´t even blame the young children.
Don´t even label the young children as brat.
How/Where/Why they learn from? Of course it´s parent´s form of discipline who expose them into kind of behavior.

I know teenagers are different story due puberty time.

It doesn't hurt to humiliate her ( daughter ) in public. I think it is good for her to learn. Bein' humiliate doesn't stay that very long, but I am sure it really impacted her enough to realize that her mother meant it. The mother was just HELPING the daughter to UNDERSTAND as to teach her. Sometimes, children need to FEEL somethin' that really impact them. There's the only way to do it after tryin' different methods.

The daughter won't die from it ( humiliate ). It don't kill her.
