Sometimes, it helps to accept those rules. You can eventually bend them as time goes by. That's how I removed my curfew when I was in high school. It used to be 9 pm. When I got a job, they extended it to 10 pm. When I started working until 10 pm, they extended it to 10:30 pm. After a few months, I asked work to extend my hours to 10:30 pm, and it forced my mom to extend my curfew to 11 pm. I kept it up until it got to the point where my mom said that I had no more curfew... as long as I called and let her know if I was going to be home late.
