CrazyRedHeadWV;

I cannot help but read your post about your child is 2 1/2 years old and own up to 250 hot wheels cars did you know that they are not good for little children at that age? Toy parts should be bigger than the child's mouth up to age 3 to avoid the chance of choking.

Mommyof3;

You also said the same thing about your child who is 2 1/2 yrs old own hot wheel cars also. I don't know if you both are aware of dangerous of small pieces on the cars like the tires. If your 2 1/2 year old still puts everything into his mouth, continue to clear of toys and games with small parts and pieces for safely reasons. Just a suggestion of course.

I agree with Cheri because I don't want the kids to get choked on or fall down because of the injury.

Hot Wheels cars and trucks cannot fit in the mouth??? He loves to plays with it. I have the picture of him with his Hot Wheels.. Look at it... He LOVES anything that has wheels on it.

I won't let him have those Hot Wheels MIRCO cars and truck which are very tiny, yes, kids can choke on it.. But those Hot Wheels are bigger than Mirco's.

See this picture of him with his collections.. My family got him 3 set of 10 cars from Toy R Us and he loved it too much!

Ok, I am just stating what I got from my Doctor a booklet that shows the dangerous of small toys for Toddlers to avoid the risks of choking or injury. I don't know if you have got the same book from your child's doctor. I understand your boy loves Hot Wheel cars but it is on the list in the booklet for children under the age of 3.

Ah, I got it at last, Crazymomma! At first I has no clue what you mean "Hot Wheels cars" until I saw the pictures of your sons with cars.

Yes, my son Alan is one of them who was collected cars since he was 2 years old total up to over 1,000 cars like what I said at my last post. We still have many cars in the basement. WeŽll sell the cars to flea markets (children flea market twice a year) to improve AlanŽs pocket money. He is collecting knights, Ritters figures now.

When he was 3, I went to his bed side before pulling the covers on him when he goes to bed, seeing his hot wheel cars lining next to his pillow...I thought he was soo darn cute....Now that we got him a case where he could put his hotwheel cars in, no more laying around the floor lining up against eachother...

I never got a book from doctor, but I know how to take care of my son and I know what I can give to him and what I cannot give to him. He got blocks, legos, Hot Wheels cars and trucks, Fisher-Prices toys.

Ok here goes!!! These are good questions!!!

Questions for Mom and Dad......

1. Are you a mother or a father? Answer: I am a mom

2. Are you a single mom/dad? Answer: No

3. How many children do you have and their ages please.
Answer: I have 2 biological daughters. Jacque who is 26 years old, Kristyl who is 21 years old. Both daughters are hearing. I also have a deaf foster son, Tiger, who is 8 years old.

4. Does your child go to school or home school? and what grade?
Answer: Jacque graduated from Assumption College in Worcester, Mass in 2001, and is going back to Simmons College in Boston, where she will be a freshman in the Nursing Program.
Kristyl, is a Senior at Endicott College in Beverly, Mass. in the Photography program.
Tiger, attends the R.I. School for the Deaf and will be going into 3rd grade this coming September.

5. Do you work full time or part of time?
I am home full time, because there is no after school care with staff that sign and it was interfering with my full time hours at R.I. School for the Deaf where I was a receptionist. So I left my job so I could be a full time foster mother to my foster son.

6. Do you sign to your children or use your voice?

Both my daughters are fluent in ASL and sign all the time, with Tiger he signs 24 hours a day.

7. What type of punishment do you use or do toward your children?

With my foster son, Tiger, it's either the "time out" chair for 15 minutes, or taking away his play station game.

8. What kind of bed does your child sleep in (example:crib, toddler bed, twin, bunk beds etc...)? My foster son sleeps in a futon bed that opens up to a double bed. Good thing, because he sleeps like a twisted pretzel.

9. does your child join any sports? If so, what kind of sports? None

10. What are your children's fave book, toys etc? (the things they love doing the most or play with etc...)? Tigers loves books on Tigers and Dinosaurs, he loves to draw, and loves his Playstation.
