We have two very beautiful daughters that I am fiercely protective of. I spent almost 9 months carrying them and I will be damned if I allow anything to happen to them.

It is at MY own discretion to share information and it is not YOUR own business to share information that isn't your OWN business to begin with. Just because I was happy to share information with you all in the first place doesn't grant YOU the courtesy to abuse it.

Those removed from MY own FB knows why; I shouldn't have to explain why. Once again, what I share here and at FB is MY own business and is at my OWN discretion- not for YOU to decide to advertise at another place.

This is something called common courtesy, respect and allowing another person their own privacy. I'm just very disappointed that my family had to be the subject of discussion.

I've been much more than gracious and this is the straw that broke the camel's back. Being a Mom now, you're dealing with another person now. Screw with me, you're screwing with my whole family and I don't like it one bit. Back off, period.
Sorry that you have to go thru this crap. I didnt know about this til Beowolf told me about it. I was disappointed and was sad that you got hurt. I am on your side. Here is my Hugs. Also I havent been in AD for a while. Once in a while I will pop up but not as often like I did in the past. Again

yeah happened here alrrady we kicked out a hearing man for being so grumpy and telling us what is acceptable amount of food to eat in the after-games dinner, (it was me who he picked on!), and im skinny but i eat like a horse, and he gets shitty everyone told he to eff off , dont come back playing pool as member again...seriously he was really moody and rude. We do what we like, its our club, no hearies is allowed to tell us what to do. Mind you i didnt even know what was going on at the time i was too busy enjoying chatting and for last 2 weeks he hasnt came back so other members told me their decision, I didnt even Whine a bit. they just didnt liked him getting shitty shaking fists (he was an aged tempermental boxer) so out he went.. i was never afraid of him anyway

I am working very hard to stay off my rant regarding this whole debacle. All I can do is move on.

Still haven't gotten a response to the question I posted way back, but maybe it wasn't important enough.

I will sometimes join in, if only to learn more ASL. Seeing as I am on time restraints due to my family, I sometimes am unable to spend much time after church, so I try to explain that I have to go and deal with family. Well, I keep getting stopped by this person, then that person and it seems that another 1/2 hour goes by and I haven't been able to leave. At what point do I say, "Enough is enough, I have to go" without it being rude?
This was the question I asked earlier.

Leave when you need to leave. You shouldn't have to feel like you need to make any excuses, whether they're excuses or not. Simply say something like "I have to go to "such and such place" and if you should get questioned (which they shouldn't, because then that'd be rude on THEIR part), you can simply say that you have something to take care of. Even if it's something as simple as dinner, lunch, your MIL, the cats, whatever. You don't need to explain it. I won't let people corner me into giving explanations when it's none of their business. If I want/need to go, I'll go. You are so sweet, Kristina, to worry about others thinking you are rude. But really, you do what you need to do.

Thank you Botti and Alley Cat. I really wanted to make sure I wasn't being rude at all. They are a great bunch of people and I would hate to ruin any of the friendships I am making.

Actually, I am telling you to shut up because you are being rude and inconsiderate toward my friends, Mrs. Bucket and her husband.

No. It's telling you to shut your freaking mouth and put a hold on your typing fingers. You have already pissed people off talking about Mrs. B and things that are none of your concern. You are being rude, unthinking, insensitive, and a complete horse's ass by continuing. Nothing friendly about it. Friendliness doesn't work with people like you.

This has to be the most ridiculous thread I have ever seen. It's like watching recess. The guy makes one comment, not even a bad comment, about something that has already posted and now he is the villian.....what a joke. Nobody gets Oreos after naptime.

Guess you missed Mrs. B's reaction to the whole ordeal. She was very upset, as was her husband. And it is her call to make.

Yeah I saw that......How exactly was Dr Phil to know that wasn't public info....he read it on AD before he posted it. It's not like he made a negative comment about it I can see why she would be mad at the Facebook friends who posted it here though.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that you don't talk about what is not yours to talk about. Especially when he used it as an excuse not to take an action.

Sounded like he was being considerate of the new arrivals to me *shrug*

The mother and father of the new arrivals see it differently. And it is their call to make.

Consensus here is that it was completely innapropriate.

TXgolfer- welcome to another episode of the "deaf twilight zone". Even Rod Serling would be amazed!
If the above is "real" on computer screens --what is the reality with actual persons forming the "Deaf/.deaf/DEAF" community/local discussions?

I have stated I am NOT part of Facebook-seems irrelevant-notwithstanding.
