Okay. I am wonder how about Hohies, Blindies, and other. I don't like call blindies. It's offensive It's my opinion. I don't call deaf people a deafies and also call to hearing people a hearies.
Do you mean deafies group together not hearies?? I am in mixed with hoh, deaf and hearing. I have a friends are deaf, hoh and hearing.

Actually, you girls got it the another way around.
Deafies are hearing people who hangs with deaf people. Aka CODA, best friends, families, etc etc. Hearies doesn't mean anything. But it is true that it's used very often to label deaf groups and hearing groups. |
