Help raise Deaf awareness!

Hi! I am a student at California State University San Marcos. At CSUSM, we strongly advocate the celebration of diversity!

We need your help in raising Deaf awareness at CSUSM!

Follow the link to participate in an educational survey concerning Deaf culture and community. This survey is only going to be used for educational purposes. Thanks…and tell a friend

http://www.surveygalaxy.com/surPubli...k=RVUJ5OP3V1X2

Also, if you would like to personally share your experiences, ideas, and/or opinions with the students at CSUSM, please contact Rosie Olson at:

olson050@csusm.edu

We would be excited to video tape an interview with you, to share with our Diversity class at Cal State San Marcos.

Feedback?

If you have taken the survey....please feel free to provide me with any positive or negative feedback.

Is it too long?
Are the questions clear?
Is anything important missing?
Should anything be removed?

You can provide feedback here or send me an email: olson050@csusm.edu

You might want to specify that the survey is for deaf/hh only. Either that or adjust the survey so that it reflects the fact that hearing people are part of the deaf community as well.

Great suggestion

You make a great point...I have revised the survey so that ALL members of the Deaf community are included. Thank you for your suggestion.

Please help me out...anyone?

Hello...I need your help...so far I haven't been doing so well on trying to promote my survey...

First, I was told that I "flooded" the forum...an accident (I didn't realize that was bad form)

Then, I was told that I excluded hearing members of the Deaf community from my survey...but I revised it to include everyone

And then...one polite member informed me that my survey was not working......so I fixed it

Now, I am afraid that no one is going to take the survey ...but I need your help in creating my presentation of the Deaf community to my college diversity class....so please help me out (and tell a friend )

Here's the link:

Mod's Note:

Thread has been merged since both threads contains the same survey link. I believe VampyroX has nicely told you that duplicate/multiple threads are considered spamming. It might not seem like it was spamming but hence, it contains the same link which applies.

Please consider yourself warned because you were already informed by VampyroX regarding to the duplicate/multiple threads.

Sorry

My apologies...I am not educated about forum etiquette...I feel really bad and embarassed...won't do it again.

I didn't know that including the same link was "spamming"...since the whole rest of the message was different...sorry.

Thanks for letting me know.

I shortened the survey

Thanks to everyone who has participated in my educational survey so far...I just wanted to let everyone know that I shortened the amount of questions so that it might be more appealing to more people. Thanks!

Have you ever considered the fact that at least 45% of all statistics are made up (or so most statisticians say)? If all else fails, make them up yourself.

Anyways, I took your survey. Nice and simple.

Here's a suggestion... number the questions. That way, we know we're not missing a question and if anyone else has a problem or a question about something, they can easily refer to it.

Example: "Excuse me, what do you mean by that in #12?" instead of "Excuse me, what do you mean by that 'Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah." on that question you have that's located close to the bottom of the second page." (Boy, you're gonna have to find that question yourself in order to understand what that person is talking about. )

I'll see what I can do about numbering the questions...thanks for the suggestions and participation

I heard that 57% of all statistics are made up on the spot...but only 33% of people actually believe that
