How do you find deaf penpal?

Especially those from Asia countries. I wanted to have a deaf Japanese penpal. As of right now, I have hearing Japanese penpals, which I do enjoy write to. But I thought it would be nice to have one deaf penpal from Japan too. Of course this may be asking of impossible because it means they have to know basic English and also deaf in general is harder to find lol.

I tried to google for such site but could not find any. The biggest penpal site has only one deaf penpal which come from America.

I don't live in big deaf community where I might can find foreign exchange students or such group, so I don't know where to start.

I need your help! Please? Thanks!!

Man, I really need to learn Japanese so I have a better chance of finding one.

Major university programs for the deaf (Gallaudet, RIT/NTID, CSUN) get many international students. Would you be willing to be penpals with someone who is studying here from Japan? When I did Typewell I worked with a deaf Japanese student who was visiting the school, learning ASL and taking college classes in English with an interpreter. Pretty amazing.

If not, it's possible they might have connections with schools and educational programs for the deaf in other countries. Perhaps you could contact those schools and ask; the worse they could do is say no.

Yes please! I don't mind if it's student studying here from other countries. Actually, it might make thing little easier because that means they are little more familiar with US's culture, I think.
