Famous Pitbulls

I met many Pit Bulls and they were sweethearts! I am really disappointed in people who mistreats them and they are so close-minded about them lately. I know they thought to be one of the dangerous dog breeds, but just that they need dominant owners to handle them, not first-timers. Keep this in your mind; "It is the owner, not the dog."

I agree with you ! It was very sad that a dog in ' The Little Rascals ' was poisoned.

Yeah, I heard about that and I really think it was a very wrongful death. :(

This that happen today it would had been investigate , there would had been a demand for it.

I really miss our pitbull, but he had a long wonderful life. I would not be able to have him in our current neighborhood. They have been banned.

I really miss my granddog , she was a pitbull and she was the sweetest little girl! I miss hearing her bang her tail on the stove when I patted her.

Our pitbull was J.D. We had a neighbor call animal control because he got loose one day and they were scared. When the officer came up, J.D. was back in the yard on his chain. The neighbor came and identified him, J.D. jumped down from the picnic table we had, sat at her feet and just wagged his tail. I went up next to him and held his collar and she got to pet him and she fell in love with him as well. When the officer talked with J.D. he started licking her face like crazy. He was listed as "semi-vicious" because he wouldn't get down when told. I think it was a set up because we could see the remains of a Big Mac sandwich on her face. She also wrote in the report that he "had the fastest tongue in the South". :laugh2:
