I wonder that as well. But I think he eats only from one mouth. From the video I can see the can has a dominate side. I noticed one side was licking the lady while the mouth was not moving.... I bet the side that is more active is the side that the cats eat from.

It looks like only one mouth is able to open . It looks like a real sweet cat. I am
glad the woman save it live!
