I took my dog out today and the snow turn bright red again! I am so heartbroken! Finlay is going to the vet today, the antibiotics are not helping him! He been on the new pills 9 days and started bleeding again. I hope the vet will be able find out what is wrong with my doggie!

Im so sorry. ;( hope the vet would find something and resolve it. how old is your dog?

oh hope vet needs to take more exams on him to see where did it causes coming from. :(

Oh, no... not again.. I hope not it is serious. Please keep us posted. Hugs!!!

I am sorry to say .....I believe that Finlay may have a cancer ovary because the same things happened to my dog. :(
Have vet check it out ok :grouphug:

I am very sorry Finlay is sick again. 12 is a long life for a large dog. :(

I thought Finlay is a boy dog.

Sorry to hear about that! You know that when dog pee with blood coming out, which mean that it's very painful for dog to pee even you can't tell what his expression is like. 12 years is a good life for this dog. I know it's hard.

I just came back from the vet and found out Finaly has a tumor in his kidney!
He is having a biopsy tomorrow and the we'll see what the next step will be.
My dog could have only a 2 more months to live according to the vet if I do nothing ! I am so really depress about this! I thought I had a least 2 more years to spend with my dog.
If the tumor is too far advance , I will have my dog put to sleep as I do not want him to be any pain. I am having Finlay cremated and I am going
to be cremated too and my daughter is going to take our ashes and mix them
together and bring them to our favorite park , and throw our ashes out toward the river. Thank you everyone for all your support. I am going to go spend time with my dog.

I just posted RIGHT after you, so ignore my previous post.

That is terrible! I'm so sorry :( Just take good care of him, give him extra love, maybe some treats every once in a while. Recently the vet told us our dog might have a tumor in his eye, and we couldnt imagine being able to pay to have the eye removed. Luckily it's just scar tissue from being scratched by a cat.

And when our dog was diagnosed with diabetes, we thought she would pass quickly, because she also has other issues. She's getting pretty old, and my mom thinks she may have a year left, maybe a year and a half. It's hard to lose an animal, or to have something wrong with them, especially when they're your best friend.

I'm really sorry about Finaly. Just try to stay strong!

That's a really great idea about the cremation thing, too. I also heard (I don't know if you're interested or not), that you can take hair or ashes and have them turned into jewerly. I thought that was a cool idea.

I'm sorry, too! We're facing the same thing with one of my dogs. Our elderly tebetan terrier has liver disease. He's still hanging in there for the time being. But, pretty soon we'll need to make a decision that NONE of us wants to make.

It's sad. I feel for you, my friend.
