Pray for my puppy, she is lost.

My puppy ran away last friday night and I've been searching endlessly, and have not found her yet. I am so sad, I just can't explain it. I made 500 flyers and am going to start taking them to neighborhoods around and distributing them. I have also been checking the animal shelter daily. I even have collar with my number on it, but ironically the day before I took it off to give her bath. I just don't know what to do and for all those who's pets mean as much to them as a child, please pray for my dog that I can find her soon. She is 1 yr old and is mix of mini schnauzer and maltese and all black in color. I am just so close to her and since my divorce she has been everything for me. I can't do anything because I'm so messed up in the head since I came home fri night and she wasn't there. Please say a little prayer for the safety of my puppy, I really appreciate it.

I'm so sorry, Doug about your ordeal. Make sure to give flyers to each mailbox in your neighbors that goes a few blocks. Also if you're member of homeowner association, give the flyer to the captain of HOA and ask if he or she can send that to everyone's email as well. Please let us know the updates.

Thanks,

Lisa

I'm so sorry to hear about your ordeal. I'm very much an animal lover. Have you tried contact police/sheriff dept and animal shelter in your area. I'll be praying for your reunion with her soon!

I am very sorry to hear about this and hope she will return to you safety. Did she wear collar with name and address or phone number?

It was happeend to my cats before... Kim, my cat was disappeared for 5 days that's time she was heat and return to us herself and then her daughter Flecky again... Flecky was disappeared for 4 days that's time she was also heat, too. I got Kim's 2 daughters Flecky & Blacky to fix tie to prevent to have kittens.

Aww I'm so sorry to hear that your puppy is lost somewhere, I hope that someone will realized the flyer and return the puppy back to you. When I see lost dogs outdoor, I call the kennel because there's a possibility that someone lost a pet.

Oh no! I hope you can find her and have her be back home....best suggestion to get microchips on your pets. I will do that when I have enough money to put in my dogs. More and more poor lost pets are so lost and miss families.

I pray that she will come home soon and back in your arm!

yes, I agree who knows?..... but Puppy must have own a code number in Puppy´s neck. If someone found it and bring to Animals doc. They can find it out "Code number" and where live?
true, all Dogs never run away about 100 miles. I know, each dogs will be stop around 10-30 miles.

Hi HohdougRN, I will pray it for you. I hope Puppy will be still healty or whatever back to your home.

Yeah, thats great if the dogs have code numbers in their necks or
micro chips in their teeth or somewhere else in their bodies?..that
would help alot..my poor little peekapoo did not have that back then
which was about 15 years ago...it didnt even exist! He had a collar
with his name and phone number, but no one called us!..so we think
someone just took him and kept him..(stolen)...*snifflin*...i still cry and
miss him to this day..Im sure he is dead by now as he would have been
20 years old by now...lol..thats old for a dog. Even if someone took him,
i hope they treated him well....oh well.............

Thank you guys so much for your loving support. I haven't had any luck yet. I still search daily, hand out flyers, and talk to as many people as I can about it. I have not lost faith yet and pray for a happy ending. She is such a special friend to me to ever give up hope or stop searching. It was very hard week, because I still have to go to work and try and do normal daily activitiesand at same time always worrying about my isabelle and wondering if she is safe and allright. I will try and update again to you all, and again thank you for your thoughts and prayers; they do not go unnoticed.

Obviously this is quite a hard and rough time for you...good to see others here in AD giving support and keeping you and your dog in their prayers, likewise, puppy is also in my prayers as well.

You mentioned that you came home and your puppy wasn't there, just to clear up any possible misunderstandings, was your puppy outside on a chain or even in a fenced area...or was it (as usual or normally) inside, yet wasn't inside when you got home? If inside, any possible way your puppy could have found a way out...even checking possible escape routes might reveal paw prints on the ground..I know that's a long-shot, but knowing you're desperate and searching hard, might be something to try, that is only if there was a possible way your puppy gotten out.

Anyhow...sure hope you'll be reunited with your puppy soon! Hang in there!!

In the meantime, this thread will remain sticky for the time being.

Awww, doug, I am so sorry to hear about your lost puppy, and the tough time you are going through. I hope everything turns out alright. Perhaps someone has here, but they haven't yet seen the flyers, and she is being cared for. Keep up hope.
