I dont mind touch snakes but not interested in having them as pets. I think they are boring--eat, sleep, shit 24/7. One time, Ive had roomies who owned Iguana lizard and that is the most boring pet Ive seen. All it did was eat, sleep and shit which stunk up the whole living room in the apt. Ugh!! But roomie was allergic to any animal with fur so got a lizard instead.

I did pest garden snake two years ago it was in my yard when I mowed the grass. it is harmless animal. But danger snakes I refuse! Long time ago I played lizards, frogs, and turtles in farm in Missouri

Well, for us, snakes are sacred creatures...especially since we have the Nagin Queen, anyway...I can't stand snakes, but if we see one, we leave milk for it to drink and it drinks the milk and goes away, once a looong time ago, there was a cobra, and my gran killed it straight away because it was attacking one of the workers, but if its a Tuesday, my gran will never touch a snake, coz we fast on those days! Amazing...A hindu's faith in the snake is amazing, it will never harm you or touch you if you put your faith in it!!

I'm familiar with the Hindu's worship of cobras (slightly, anyway). When you say Nagin Queen, are you referring to the cobra.

Btw, I am facinated by cobras.
