I love him to death! With potty training, he would have several accidents in the house, After taking him out on the first round, we came back inside he went in the living room and peed on the carpet, I'm like how many times do you have go pee?! Did you just go outside and went? I swore he did, and I cannot believe he went again. Thanks God for shampoo cleaners! ![]() We did took a walk today up to the store, at first he looked so confused why are we walking this way, he kept turning around to go back to the house, I'm like no, We're going to take a walk, come on Charlie. Every time I stop walking, he would stop, every time I walk he would walk, when I run, he runs. He's so cute!! Whenever I'm on the computer he would go under the desk and lay by my feet, every time! Honestly! like right now that's what he is doing. ![]() But the hardest part is leaving him behind if I have to run errands because a lot of places wouldn't allow pets in their stores. When I get home, I see him in the cage he would become hyper and excited then I take him out of the cage, he would jump up on my legs, I could tell he misses me as much I misses him.

The kids would come home, play with him for a little bit and go back with playing with their games, or doing their homework, or go outside and play with their friends. Nice kids huh? They desperately wanted a puppy from the start, but then ignored him a week later. Surprised! Surprised! I even mention that to them, They would come up with a lame excuse why they couldn't play with the puppy longer. Markus would say "I'm busy" Jordan would copycat and say the same thing Markus would say, "I'm busy too" Doesn't it feel good when someone that loves you, just so excite to see you when you arrive home? You would know that feeling when you go over your mother's house to see your mom's dog reaction. I love that feeling.

[quote=Cheri;629415]Must love me more than my kids? Could be right, because I feed him, I take him out, I take walks with him, I play with him, I even put drops in his ears for ear infection, and I would also take him for a ride with me when I drop Jordan off at school but not every morning only those mornings when I don't have to run errands.

Just to see how your kids reacts to you. Hee hee I am sure they love your pup Charlie. Charlie is not a stufffed animal! He is an human-dog! Hee hehehe |

Awww Charlie is so adorable. It reminds me of my husband's former dog, Muffy. She passed away few years ago. ![]() The boys gave him a name Charlie. Is not it coming from Charlie Chaplin?

I'm also sorry it was a reminder of your old pet. I hope it did not bring back the bad memories of the time Muffy passed away. Quote:
![]() @ Dino65,Matter of fact I took your advice and told them about giving up Charlie to a new owner, They freaked out, and now they're paying more attention to Charlie. Yesterday for the first time, The boys fed, walked, took him outside and now allowing Charlie to play with them upstairs. Of course with the door being closed because Charlie not yet learned to go down the steps, or climb up the steps yet, being so little he's having a hard time.

Your kids love your pup. Eventually they will *ugh* but that's normal for young kids anyway. Being responsibility can be overwhelming for young kids. As a young kid, My siblings and I used to whine taking care of our family dog Chip but we still loved her. Chip passed away at age of 13 1/2 in '91. I still miss her. My parents' dog Sally recently passed away nearly two months ago at age of 14. RIP Chip and SallyWhat a cute face Charlie has. |
