Wild Cat is preggy!

I've been feeding the wild cat for several months out in my front porch...this cat refused to be closer to me...dunno why...but anyways...I saw the cat today...I noticed the cat might be pregnant! Since the cat is huge in her stomach...

I am afraid that she will deliver her babies on my porch which I have no experiences to help with the cat...

Do you want to help this wild cat mommy? I don't know where you live, but you can ask the humane society in your area for help. The mommy cat needs to be brought to the humane society. I'm sure they will take care of her, if you are worried about putting her down. You can inform the humane society that you want to keep the mommy cat since you have been feeding her. I don't think they will kill all of her babies because kittens have a better chance to find home. They will take care of the kittens and find good home for them. She needs to be spayed and gives vaccines. You can let her go and then feed her on your porch like you always do. You don't need to keep her indoor since she's a feral cat.

You can try it yourself, but you need to be very careful. You might want to buy this kind of cat trap. You need to buy a cat canned food and put in there. I know they sell in a store where they sell horse food or horse products.

If you caught her, I highly advise you to take her to Humane Society. They will take care of her litter. They might put her down, but if you are afraid of them put the cat down. You tell them that you want to keep the mom cat and have her spay, you might have to pay for a small fee. I m sure they can work things out with you.

That's a good idea. You could probably call them and they could send a certified "cat catcher" and place this cat in a proper home and be prepared for its kittens.
