Yes it is very heartwarming to see the hippo and the tortoise caring for each other.

Impressive...I didn't realize that reptiles (that's what tortoises are, right?) had such complex emotions that they'd be able to care for and bond with members of another species!

Then again, I heard a story once from someone who said their pet python used to give hugs to friends and run from strangers...
