Dogs and litterbox

Don't you get tired of your dogs pooping all over the house?

Why not buy a big litterbox for dogs to poop in?

Can we train dogs to poop at that litterbox?

I don't want my dogs go outside and get fleas and ticks...

I want my dogs to stay clean and no bugs on them...

stay in the house and I wish they poop in the litterbox...

A Chichuchua could do that, right? Little dogs... maybe a mini doberman.

No?

Keeping your dog inside 24/7 is the worst thing you could do as a pet owner....I'd think where your dog craps should be the last of your worries.

As "a puppy" most puppies do this business in the house, but you gotta train them to use it outside, Dogs needs to run around; the house isn't big enough for dogs to run around. Cats are more in home pets than dogs, so I wouldn't think dogs would need a litterbox like cats do.

it is not good idea to have a doggy litter in the house. if the dog pooped in the house, my god, it would smell up the whole house, if your friends came over and wondered if you actually have poop air freshener?!

dogs needs to be outside to do their business, they need exercise, walk, fresh air, grass, roll, sniff, terroritzes hydrants and trees....too many to list...

kitty litter is okay since cat know what they are doing and they cover their mess up even dogs wouldnt do it. they would kick their hind legs to scrap their feeties on grass, that's about it. grass is kinda their toilet paper.

one disadvantage if dogs go into your cat's litter and have those "kitty krunchies" gross gross!!

And dogs do eat their own poop too, I have seen my father's dog and my sister's dog does the same thing. How gross! I mean it smells so bad how can they eat it? ewww! So, think about it, If you want to get a litter box then there wouldn't be any more poop in there cuz the dog will be eating it. I can't say much anymore the more I think about it the more it making me burf here.

Well, it's pretty common for puppies to eat their well... feces. But for dogs, far less common due to the training. But some dogs just find the habit too difficult to kick.

If you want to stop seeing it happen again, feed them some pineapples in their dogfood, they will soon stop eating their faeces!!

Dogs using cat litter box?.... You know how dogs digs up dirt when they're outside and if a dog was in a cat litter, I bet there wouldn't be any litter in the cat box since it will be all over the floor, sound like alot more cleaning to do too....

Puppies are more likely to have a few accidents in the house, but when a pet owner train their puppies to use their potty outside, then it wouldn't be hard to clean up the mess they leave behind on carpet or where ever...

I rather have the dog outside for a walk and do their business then pick their business up from the street with tissue or newspaper to threw them into street rubbish bin.

True, I remember Miska, my mongrol dog who ate my young sister's poo when she was baby.

Exactly I never forget my Miska, dog during childhood. I remember from smell from her mouth when I want to cuddle Miska.

I do not against dogs and dont mind to accept dogs in my house but not for permanently. As you see that I'm cat person & also little pets person.

I have been dog owner all my life include cats, I have seen all kinds before, I would NEVER train my dogs to use litterbox. YOU think you seen dogs do it in litterbox?? YEAH RIGHT, UNLESS dog think they are cat.

IF that is case, I RATHER train my dog to use TOLIET instead of cat litter (I know it impossible) but it would be good laugh see dog do that. I would be more glad for dogs to use lawn because once dog poops into lawn like use it as fertizer. (better do it in backyard not frontyard as if you have one).
