Would you....
Would you adopt a pet if it was possible....?
I'm genuinely curious about the pros and cons with adopting a pet...and if any of you ever had done that and please share with us your feelings related to adoption...and for the rest of you who never adopted a pet, do you know of others that have done so or what is your general view of adopting a pet? Eventually I'll share my own views of adopting a pet.... Have a great day now! ![]() |

Yes, I would adopt a pet... but it usually depends on what kind of pet I'm adopting. If they're puppies and are good for home, then I'd get it. If it's an adult with a violent history, I wouldn't get it. I've seen dogs in animal shelters that were placed there because they attack children and bark all night. That's not what I'd want.

^Angel^ and I did adopt a kitty and had this kitty for a couple of weeks and we did have to return the kitty as it was sick and not looking too good, we miss this cute kitty but we know that the kitty is in good hands now under the good care of a veterinarian.... Someday I wouldn't mind adopting a siberian husky or a chocolate lab if available and in need of placing in a good home.... ![]() |

I adopted my first dog last Feb. She is a rottweiler... I know some of you probably will say.. YIKES a ROTT? Yes, I was afraid at first but my boyfriend really likes rott. So, I thought why don't I just give it a try. Im very grateful that I did. She is a WONDERFUL dog. I wouldn't ask for anything better than her. My aunt adopted many cats and a dog, they all are great pets to keep. I think its important to know background of the animal you want to adopt like why is it at the shelter? and so on. Take it out and try to see how it approach things especially for dogs. I took my dog outside to see how it behaved.. it was so friendly toward other people and didn't growl or bark at the cats as we walked thru the cats aisle. When we brought her back home with us.. we discovered that she knew sign language. We was able to tell her sit down, lay down, stay, go potty, and so on. Lucky us, eh?

I'm always adopting random animals...but kind of had to put a limit on it...since we do have a small place and not enough pet kibble to go around!
But hey, if I had a bigger place, I'd donate an entire wing to the animals! |

I'm an animal lover and I would adopt all of them if I had a bigger yard or house but I don't....
I have adopted mostly cats than dogs in the past because I used to live in apartments but now that I have a house and I can adopt any animals I want |
