Old Jeep for animal shelter???
I went to volunteer at a cat animal shelter yestersday. I saw this cool picture of what I think is a 1979 Cherokee. Volunteer coordinator told me that this was an old picture. I thought it was sooooo cool!!!
I kind of think this was an odd vehicle to use to transport animals because of its gas mileage. Then again, I think cats appreciate a big safe vehicle. Maybe some of the cats remember the joy of riding in a classic Jeep .

These jeeps were designed to go ANYWHERE even when road ends. Perfect for wilderness off roading.

Cool! Maybe gas mileage isn't as important to them as function. The Jeep pictured looks like it can get around to rural areas, plus it will hold animal carriers easily. Besides, if someone carries lots of animals, one doesn't need to worry about keeping an older car pristine.
![]() That's one of the beauties of a used car. It's already been past the "Oh, no, my first scratch on my new car" phase.
