You would be fucking amazed at the number of people on the Survivor message boards who are still beating the Christy/Jenna/Heidi thing to death. It’s pretty pathetic—the pro-Jenna and pro-Christy camps are still at each other’s throats with constant flame and bumper wars. What’s most amusing is the hundreds of harebrained theories being bantered around to this very day as to why Christy voted for Jenna. I know the real reason Christy voted for Jenna—her mother told me. None of these little adolescent wankers are even close to figuring it out. Christy will always be number one in my book as my favorite castaway ever, but S7 has been over for 3 weeks now and S8 is starting next month. It’s high time that these pimple faced dweebs get a life and find something more productive to do than sit at the computer and makes hundreds of redundant posts about a TV show that was over a year ago.

My thoughts exactly! If you were to talk to someone at RIT and say, "Remember Christy from Survivor?" The response is most likely gonna be, "Yeah, and...?"

CBS officially announced the line-up for Survivor 8 on this morning’s edition of the Early Show.

The contestants are:

Richard Hatch, winner of the original "Survivor: Pulau Tiga," along with Rudy Boesch, Sue Hawk and Jenna Lewis.
Tina Wesson, winner of "Survivor: The Australian Outback," as well as her runner-up, Colby Donaldson, and Amber Brkich, Jerri Manthey and Alicia Calaway.
Ethan Zohn, winner of "Survivor: Africa," plus Lex van den Berghe and Tom Buchanan.
From "Survivor: Marquesas," Kathy Vavrick-O'Brien and Rob Mariano.
From "Survivor: Thailand," Shii Ann Huang.
Jenna Morasca, winner of "Survivor: The Amazon," and Rob Cesternino.
Rupert Boneham, from "Survivor: Pearl Islands."

Breaking with tradition, the 18 contestants will be broken into three tribes, not the usual two.

S8 will premiere immediately following the Super Bowl telecast on February 1.

I dont like Susan that played in the game with Rob .. But I loveeeeeeee Rupert he is a very very good player! And I had a crush on Colby heh.... Kathy was also a good Player too she did deserved to win.

I hope Rupert goes a lot farther in S8 than he did in S7—he deserves it. He definitely got a raw deal in the Pearl Islands. And I pray to God that Rob Cesternino is another early boot. Maybe Jiffy will whack him upside the head with his own torch and knock that shit-eating grin off his face.

Christy was my Survivor crush. I met her on her birthday, and I gave her a present that I made for her myself. When she opened it, she threw her arms around me and gave me a long hug. I must have turned ten different shades of red.

Awwww.. How come i didnt get to meet Christy? Grrr...Most people I know already have met her.. but me.. Not yet :sad:

Well, maybe you could do the next best thing. I do an online chat almost every week on one of her fan sites, and we talked her into joining us one night (believe me, it wasn’t easy—we had to keep after her for months). We’re trying to get her to come back. So maybe you could at least chat with her. Christy really cares about her fans, too. If you e-mail her, she will write back. BTW, it’s nice to know that there’s another Christy fan still out there. I thought her 15 minutes were over and everybody had forgotten about her.

I wonder if you should change the name of this thread after All-Stars starts next month.

OMG! I AM A CHRISTY FAN! lol....i was so pissed off that she wasn't on the All Star Survivor list! But maybe if there is another All Star she'll be on it!

Ohh....as for Christy, it's my website he's referring to (Christy's World) where there's a weekly chat (9:00p.m. Eastern time). Right now, Christy is trying her hardest to get funding for her new PBS show (see her website right here) and is in the process of figuring out her schedule before she comes to the actual weekly "CW Chat."

Umm....let me change that. See the Deaf Events and Meet forum at the bottom of AD.
