Spock was my favorite character in original series, I watched it it sometimes but I was about 10 and didn't always understand it. My dad watched it and so sometimes I watched to spend time with him.

Well, it's captioned now!

I think it's subtitled too.

Enterprise has English subtitle option for the DELETED scenes on the DVD sets! YAY! I miss words sometimes (my hearing is not as good as it used to be). Slurring words, mumbling, whispering, or lots of background noise makes it hard to hear for me.

Yeah, I also spent time with my dad watching the syndicated reruns on TV. I'm a child of the late '70's...

He was very interesting!

Of the women, I also liked Yeoman Janice Rand and Uhura, and Number One, in original Trek pilot with Captain Pike.

I always found it funny that Nurse Chapel had a thing for Spock!

The writers needed to make Janeway less like a mean school teacher from the 19th century! They called her "school marm" in reviews, and she came off that way.

I think the writers needed to work on their strong female characters. You can be a tough woman without being a b****. It seemed like she needed to take some Nice Pills or something...

I am not sure if they ever got to tone her down a little... I didn't like her hair in the bun. She looked too much like school marm with that hair do.

I will have to get it on DVD and try it again from beginning to end, and see if it got better... I did like Chakotay and Neelix and the doctor made me laugh.

I think B'Lanna was ok to be grumpy because she was part Klingon.

LOL I never liked janeway's hairdo bun too. She did let her hair down and look nicer in couple of the shows. Oh I am not fond of chakotay. I know he was an native amercian but his character seems not right or fit for Voyager. maybe that is why he reminded me of EX's. neelix and the doctor were so funny too. I totally forget about B'lanna and her husband Tom Paris and I did enjoy watching the couples being in relationship on voyager. lol

We like positive futures for everyone. That's part of Classic Star Trek's message.

Did you know they have the honor of being the first show to have an interracial kiss broadcast on TV in the 1960's? Interracial marriage used to be against the law in many states.

If I was a little older, I wouldn't have been allowed to marry my hubby back then. Now that's pretty progressive for the time, I'd say!

Hail to all the science career folks influenced by Star Trek! (The inventor of the cell phone was one of them.)

You could Google for theaters in your area, or if you can't you can tell us where you live and someone will surely check for you.

I have been told its release is next month for the rest of us... seems unfair to have to wait.

My hubby also wants to see Hugh Jackman in the Wolverine movie, too.

And I'm dying to see Harry Potter!!

My Grandpa was always watching it at my house, but I was always too busy playing with action figures! Haha! I'm excited about the new movie, though!

Now that I'm older, I'm definitely interested in it!

Supposedly you want to know what's going on with the new Star Trek movie, I strongly recommend you to go to this cool site called Trekmovie. Last year the site held a questions/answers session for the fans from JJ Abrams, some actors, producers and special effects people. I visit the site a few times everyday.

Bob Orci, one of the co-writers in movie, visits and make comments and answers to fans' questions regularly in this site.

Thumbs up I love to watch on movie...

I watched on TV with DVD. "Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan"

I love it because Mr. Spock was hero to save all crews in the ship. Sadly, Spock was dead. Now he did rebirth again. Same way Superman was dead when he fought Doomsday. Now Clark Kent did rebirth again.

Talking Long live Trek

I've been a Trekkie for years and have most of the Trek books, magazines, and comics published in the last 25 years.

All the series have continued their stories past the finales. The Borg are gone for good. Jean Luc and Will Riker are adjusting to being new husbands and fathers. Worf is now first officer of the Enterprise. What would Captain Kirk say?

A new Voyager book called Full Circle came out a month ago and it was almost as long as a Harry Potter book (576 pages). Some of the characters had major changes. There's a new captain, Tom Paris is now first officer, and Voyager is headed back to the Delta Quadrant as flagship of a fleet.

I've seen all the movie clips posted on the Internet and want to go see it at an IMAX the first weekend. They're already planning the next movie. I can't wait.
