Youngblood, which will be pretty familiar to comicbook fans who read those back in the 1990s. Brett Ratner, who directed the Rush Hour trilogy and X-men 3 wanted to do a comicbook based film on Youngblood, which was said by comicbook fans that it was proably one of the worst. comicbooks. EVER.
I guess in some ways I would have to agree...I didnt really read Youngblood, but those characters made afew appearances in other comics that I read such as Savage Dragon and Spawn. I have to admit some of those characters are pretty corny...such as Badrock is pretty corny as well.
However...I really do like the Savage Dragon comics and I'm very much hoping someone would make that into a movie someday IF they get it right! lol but brett ratner? ppplleeaaasseee...he's good with comedy movies such as Rush Hour but action movies such as X-men 3? That third movie was a major disappointment to fans thanks to him. and not too long ago, he wanted to make a movie based on a videogame and you know what that is?
Guitar Hero. Good thing Activision refused to let him do anything with their games.
I assume he's proably one of the worst directors in hollywood history, seriously.
Ratner should find better things to do than just filming utter shit movies.
Notice that black guy with the skull paint on his face? Yep...that's Chapel, who killed Al Simmons aka Spawn in a war since he was paid by Jason Wayne to kill him. Al Simmons who is now Spawn came back from the dead and tracked him down and put the "skull" mark on his face as an unpleasant memory for taking his life away.
