Swap Wife

Is anybody watch the tv show called "Swap Wife"?

What is your opinion on this tv show?

Disagree & agree discussion is definitely welcomed.

...

I'll go first. It's so fantastic tv show to watch them to learn how improve their families' situations better. It's much emotional and realistic, it has a various background of their families, too. I think we can borrow this idea to share with our friends if they may need it. I don't know if it is possible.

In a case if you never heard of that tv show... I'll explain what it is really about.

For only example.
#A Family and #B Family; #A wife works so harder and has to watch her kids all the time while her husband do nothing. B# wife is lazy and do not watch her kids very much while her husband works so harder and takes a care of his children.

Both families want to improve and change their mad situation, so they have to agree with an agreement term about switch wives.

#A wife must follow excaltly what #B wife do in #B wife's family and, #B wife must follow excaltly what #A wife do in #A wife's family. Both wives will realize what they have done, so two weeks later, both wives can change or make rules for their families while they are still in a different family.

That's mean #A family must follow #B wife's rules and #B family must follow #A wife rules for another two weeks, I think. After other days, both wives can go back to see their husbands before both couples will make a conouslor discussion together. Finally... #A wife can go back home with her #A family and her husband again, there goes same with #B wife's family.

It's pretty interested to watch, through I don't watch it very much. Still, I lvoe that tv show.

It's "Wife Swap" not Swap Wife. I always watch on tv all the times. I love it! It depend on 2 different swap family. The wives need to trade with family for 2 weeks to help change the life. I do agree and some disagree with families. Some women are lazy and doesn't care about what kids want. Sometime the family can be weird.

I've never seen the show, but I did see part of an episode online a couple months ago.

One wife was sent to a family who preferred to eat raw food cuz of their kids' ADHD. When that wife took them out to dinner and they all ate cooked food, the father cried his eyes out when they talked the next day.

Yes, I watched it too. It was last Feb. The raw family are insane! My husband said the father is stupid and fake cried. I rather COOKED not raw! YUCK! I refuse to dare eat a raw eggs. The family's house are so flighty They don't believe in chemical to clean up the floors and doing chore in house. The family use a butter to brush their teeth. YUCK!

The black lady did report to CPS about the kids are adhd and never go to school.

I watched it once...got bored. I like shows of intelligential like House, Fringe, Bones or with a comedy twist like "Til Death.

I guess I am not into reality shows.

As for the wife swapping thing, as long as all parties agreed to the swap, I see nothing wrong with it. I am sure some people had a great learning experience from it.

What kind of boring you watched at once?

Like two family oppose

Fat with non health food vs good in shape with exercise and good health

Lazy vs work so hard

flighty VS freak cleanliness house

Dad is very STRICT and control to kids Vs Non strict and flexible

Hate PET vs PET LOVER

Overprotection the children vs Independence and spoil brat

Partyhead vs anti-party

Very Religion vs Non Religion

Liberal vs Conservative

Hippies "Make love not war" vs Military

Vegetarian as Vegan Vs Love eat a meat

Vitamins Supplement for sports vs non sport without vitamin supplement with misbehave kids

Princess vs Punk

Upper Class vs Middle lower class

Organizer vs disorganize and dirty in house

Non Sport vs Sport

Wiccan vs Christian

Gothic vs Natural

and many more.

That's very interesting to me. It's not boring.

Yup, I am with you, it's not boring. You get to watch two families with very different values to take part in a two week challenge. That show had won award for the best reality show.

Agreed shel. How much "reality" is there in a "reality" show? They film over 100 hours, and cut to the most controversial stuff that can be shown in 45 minutes. Not very realistic at all. If they included all the stuff that was really boring from day in and day out, it would put people to sleep. When they edit, it is not really "reality", but just a few minutes of the total reality of what happened.

If it is not boring for u, good for u.

I just find it boring like some people find football boring. Everyone is different..we all don't have to like the same thing.

I am more into shows with a plot or a storyline not reality shows.

I was commenting cuz I don't see anything wrong with people participating in swapping wives if all parties agreed to it.

I forget about Wife Swap's start at Life channel Monday to Friday at 4:00pm. You can watch both of Life and ABC. I will find an information about Christian and Wiccan between.

I enjoyed I, of course! I'd missed that tv show so much.

I watched "clean freak family with no pets vs messy family with pets" last week.

Yesterday, I watched "athetist family vs christian family". Wow, that's very interesting to me! Now I wanna watch "christan vs wiccan" lol.

Today, I don't know what's title for wife swap show... I'll see about that, but I have to go, for my job open appt. Later!

PS - In Oregon, it's not 4pm everday for each week. It's actually 3pm for mondays, wdnesdays, and fridays. And it's 4pm for tuesdays and thrusdays. Weekends, there are no tv show for sure.

EDIT: I missed some parts at the beginning but I do believe it is about "miliarty family w/ strict rules vs roughhouse family w/ a several rules"

It's nice to see wives changed their families differently and improve. The "roughhouse" wife dervses some respect since her family had no respect for her, I didn't realize how strict wife (from miliarty family) b'tched at other family about no rules and a lack of respect. Ooh, oof! XD

There re a lot to say things.. But I think I got enough.

God, that was brutal to watch! I kept thinking how can anyone live like that...

I rather eat Cooked food instead of Raw! God, If I was her, I would go out EVERY DAY to eat cook food, never eat Raw food.
