We saw on that part I & II movies on TV last weekends... We weren't realized that it's true movie until end of the movie...

I like true movies... I started to search to learn about Betty & Dan Broderick last week... I was like because the description about them from websites is most different as I saw on part I & II movies... That's movie, I saw look like that they support Dan Broderick fully... I first thought Betty's behavior is not normal... She obessed Dan because Dan decided to leave her... and fall in love with Linda... I learn from many websites that most Americans support Betty against Dan & Linda... It written that Dan & Linda was having an affair for 3 years during his marriage with Betty ... negative description about Dan etc... I would love to buy a book to read about them...


Can you please enlighten me if you know that situation of 90s? I would be interesting to learn about them... I searched for DVD via websites/Ebay then I can repeat to watch them... Unfortunlately DVD is not in Europe but America and Canada...

Just to inform you that most true story movies that been shown on Lifetime don't usual have closed caption only on Lifetime it does. I don't believe either part 1 and 2 on this movie has closed caption on dvd. Believe me when I tell you this, I've purchased a lot of true story movies, only 2 out of 7 movies appeared to have closed caption.

During search, I saw one of many websites (I can't remember which one). Betty said in her interview that she did not see those movies part I and II. (I'm sure she will see it when she is out of prison in March 2010 then will tell us what she think of those movies).

I had the feeling after read many websites until I found "libaray crime" where I post is accurately that's why I posted that link to here which total different as movie part I and II, I saw with subtitles (closed caption) last weekends.

It's sad that most of DVD do not have closed caption in your country.

And how do I feel about this movie? There is a lot of loose holes, many truth been left unsaid. They're just painting Betty a bad picture. When I read about those couples in the previous past, I understood how Betty felt, the betrayal, and having her children living in a dump because of her husband and his new lover. She was very angry, not in a right frame of mind and unstable. But, the bad thing is she murdered not one person but two..But, I think she is eligible for parole in 2011... I might be mistaken.

But you said you saw the movie on TV last week right? It usual have closed caption if it is seen on TV.

Yes that's what I noticed after learn more about Betty thru websites which is total different as they paint Betty at movies negatively and alot of missing what I read from websites. At movies written that Betty will get out of prison on March 2010 but the websites written that she will get out of prison next 2011.

Beats me, I dunno which year. Yea, they did made her look like she's a monster in that movie, but if they knew the bigger picture of why she acted the way she did, then they wouldn't judged her so much based on her actions.

What Dan did was bad, but that doesn't mean that Betty should do the things she did... vandalize his place, vandalize his place again, drive the car through his house, make harassing phone calls, etc. That only makes the situation worse for you.

That's likely the reason why she lost custody of the kids as well as getting less money from the divorce settlement.

If she had kept her cool, she would have proven herself to be mature and likely to have kept her kid as well as getting a lot of money from the divorce settlement.
