It's more of a mini-series that was on television 7 years ago.

It's almost 15 hours long.

Taken begins with the Roswell crash and follows 3 families through 4 generations for 50 years. It's a Stephen Spielberg movie.

Mom and I watched Changeling, Eagle Eye, and Quarantine. LOL, my mom freaked out by the Quarantine! Ha ha ha XD

I hope you had a good weekend last three days ago.

Just like Heaven

with bf... but we both preferred the book over the movie! Much more emotional!

I just finished watching Death Note and Death Note II: The Last Name. Whew! Good movie!

I've already read the manga 2 years ago and the anime last year. Now, I've seen the live action version.

It was kinda disappointing how they changed a lot in the live action movies. I guess it's cuz there's so much in the manga/anime that they didn't have time to put it all into live action.

Now... on to Oldboy.

Damn ....

I DID watch a 20 HOUR marathon of the old 1978-1979 NBC miniseries "Centennial" based on James Michener's novel of the same name. The reason was I'm a fan of those long-winded Michener novels for the past 12 years. I did remember the ads NBC ran for the miniseries, but I didnt watch it until 30 years later, I finally got to do it

I got it on DVD at the Best Buy and good thing no commercial breaks or Id gone nuts watching 5 1/2 hours of commercials like it was when it first ran on NBC in 1978-1979.

I must have better endurance and tolerance enough to watch a movie of epic proportions

So next movie I watch might be North and South/N & S Book II/N & S Book III. That may top Centennial ..not to mention Patrick Swayze's performance as Orry Main

Watch L:Change the World, which is the third film of the series.
Actually the D.N. connection is slim but still the movie happens AFTER the events in DN2 and leading up to L's death.

Yeah, I'm familiar with that. I plan on watching that next.

One thing I noticed is that the first and second movie covers only 25% of the actual story from the manga. The anime version covered almost everything from the manga.

I guess that's to be expected when you try to squeeze a super-long manga into two movies.

I watched it earlier today.

It was unusual when they released Twilight on Saturday instead of the usual Tuesday.

That same day, everyone watched it. I guess that was their plan.

W.

It's pretty good and it's very interesting. This movie made me want to dig up his background more deep.

Awesome.
