We will be watching a DVD of a production we haven't seen since the kids were little and it was on PBS. It's called Into the Woods and is a combinations of different children's stories.

Into the Woods (TV 1991) - IMDb

Edit - I cannot watch - it is not captioned or subtitled. Son and mother are watching.

bloody good, much better than i thought, the film got better and better through the viewing, great story, great scripts, great chracters, great feelings, few teeny weeny goofs in the editing but thats was hard to do, in keeping to a story with a few loose bits to make it interesting its quite difficult to do in making films to hold audiences interests.
I loved it, fresh perspective, Funny, and it has a heart.
id give it a A+, if not everyones cup of tea, but i wouldnt be surprised if it got popular because its not that dirty and the story towards the ends really makes sense.
sorry thats one of the longest rave posted here about an unlikely hit.
I ENJOYED it. One thing, it has a lot of talking so if you are not that good in English, forget it, see something else more visual. It is deeper *if not deep*, so its a thinker's sex comedy, a rare breed indeed!
what a charm.

Decided to check out "And Your Name is Jonah" as it was mentioned on the forum, and it's on Netflix streaming. Decent movie. I was all choked up at the end when Jonah learned sign.

Thinking of getting the "Lord of the Rings" Extended Box set in Blu-Ray.

Between watching THAT and the whole Dark Shadows series that is on Netflix streaming, I could be busy for months!

Going to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 tomorrow! CAN'T WAIT. It's been torture hearing about all my friends going to see it, and being unable to haha

Last movie I actually watched was hmm... gee, it's been a while. bits and pieces of the other Harry Potter movies thanks to ABC Family and its marathons, I suppose.

Event Horizons,
so and so, a kind of Ghost Ship in outspace...
liked the idea of the gravity drive, but its gone too silly, passing more than space, but also into supernatural space geeez, if genre mixing is your thing you might like it afterall its a sci-fi horror, but so far, I have seen ANY Sci-fi-horror bettered than the Alien/s triology, esp the FIRST one is the best, Alien eggs...great concept...not sure why no one try re-invent this idea..
but if there is ONE right here on Earth and held in top secret, boy we'd be in the serious shit if some overcurious scientests decided to hatch it...

Last Night - A married couple, apart for one night, faces temptation as the husband takes a business trip with an attractive colleague and the wife encounters a former lover.

This movie was very good. Grade B

Almost watched a movie, but then changed mind due to minor depression. It would have been Casablanca.

yes thats a great film , i thnk the story is written by Carl Sagan , or at least honored to him??

i loved the ending, it really made me think about death, the cosmic , heavens, and psyche, energy, and whereabouts the afterlife (or next life) takes place...really interesting, i guess its alot determined with purity of 'mind'/heart and determination of where to go *and meet the loved ones*...it really stuck in my mind for quite some time after i saw it

Yeah, it was an enjoyable movie. I loved all the video game references. A good movie to 'level up' your geek street cred! I should read the graphic novels sometime...
