You are right that it was Jamie Lee Curtis who play the sister. I thought it was Michael Myers, but if that is Jason who was the serial killer. I really get mix up as I do watched some of the old thriller movies. It was a long time ago and I have not seen much of Jamie Lee Curtis long.
