im really love watch Oscar every years because more traditional for movie awards if you lives in california you can going watch lives Oscar or you watch on television of Oscar

Oscar will be 79th this years and next years will be 80th of Oscar

Same here. I regard the winner of the Cannes higher than the Oscar winner. Yet, it is fun to watch the Oscars. I often find good movies through the oscar nominations. Example: A love Song For Bobby Long(John Travolta was nominated for best supporting actor Oscar for his role as Bobby Long a few years ago). Vera Drake is another example of a fine film I found by looking at the nominations for avrious awards in the Oscars.

The Departed won best picture. Martin Scorsese finally gets his due.
I have seen this movie, and I highly recommend it.

'The Departed' is a masterpiece, no doubt.

Though I was stunned when they handed the award to some German flick instead of 'Pan's Labyrinth'.

What a crime.
