"Personal Best" -1982 with Mariel Hemingway and Patrice Donnelly.
There were incredibly explicit lesbian scenes that my virgin 10 year old eyes was so intrigued about learning a whole new world!!

I saw "Platoon" when I was 16. It came out in 1986.
I was dating someone at the time, and we were on a date. Before he took me, we agreed that I could pick the restaurant, and he could pick the movie. Looking back, I wish *I* had picked the movie, and he had picked the restaurant. Platoon was just too violent for my liking!

Did you mean "Victor Victoria"? The Blake Edwards movie - it didn't have Burt Reynolds in it but James Garner and Robert Preston. My first R rated movie was 'The Thing' with Kurt Russell and Richard Masur. |

Movie ratings went into effect on Nov.1, 1968. By that time, I was already 17 years old, so I was "legally" able to see R movies anyway. I really don't remember the first "R" movie that I saw. By the time I was 18, I was working in a movie theater, so I was exposed to all the movies that came to the theater.

I dont really remember which..but I would remember that I've seen "Robocop" when I was a kid too although it was actually one of the gayest films I've ever seen...I mean c'mon! horrible story...horrible acting, etc...and there's absloutely no doubt that the Terminator would most defiently beat Robocop's slow-poke metal ass!

The first R-rated movie I saw was The Golden Child. Actually, I didn't watch the whole thing... just the last 30 minutes of it... without captions. The first fully understood R-rated movie I saw was actually my second R-rated movie, Robocop. I was spending the night at a friend's house. That night, we went to Blockbuster Video to rent a movie. My friend's dad didn't care what we watched. I then pointed at Robocop as my choice... as a joke. He rented it anyway and I was shocked. That night, we saw the movie and I was all giggly from seeing them say "fuck" and "shit" all the time. It was like this... "Hehehe! He said, 'fuck'! Hahaha! Whoa, he said, 'shit'!"
