JK Rowling official site

I have yet seen the 3rd movie -- but am anxiously waiting for its release later this year. I have read all 5 books at least 4 or 5 times each book! Gawd! I reckon I'm pretty desperate for the new book to come out!

The next movie will not be directed by Alfonso Cuaron who directed Prisoner of Azkaban but he will be directing the Order of the Phoenix. This was due to the production people wanting to speed filming up before the actors got too old. I can't wait for the Harry Potter 3 movie on DVD.

Anyone think this movie was awesome too?? So much better than the first two and definitely NOT as kiddy.

No, it hasn't been confirmed. There are some words that is strongly brewing that Mira Nair has been offered the director's role for the fifth film. Mira Nair recently directed Vanity Fair which came out this month. But it hasn't been confirmed yet, but she was mentioned in an interview saying she was offered the role recently.

Actually, they're just growing. That's why they don't seem that kiddy anymore. There's 7 years worth of Harry Potter to go through, so you'll be bound to see more maturity as the years goes by.

Actually, the secondary unit filming started back in late March/Early April while the principal filming started in July.

I agree with that about OOTP movie director, still not confirmation yet. Only have to be WB decide. Not me! The next director of GOF name is Mike Newell. It was pretty good. Everything went well.

They are still filming it, and it has been confirmed that they have planned to clock it at 2 1/2 hours long. I know that sounds pretty short for a book that is wayyy thicker than the previous novels. But I believe they're cutting most of the secondary plots out of it and focus on the main storyline. If they were going full blast, it would had cost them more than 300 million.

Imagine the burden Warner Bros has to deal with when it come to funding the movies.

Well, we are very confuse. They said on new report before. They said there will be 4 hours, and now, it rumor it is 2.5. We was very confuse about that happen few days ago. As you see www.the-leaky-cauldron.org tell us it false alarm. I was very confuse. I have no idea. Well, I think it been a 2.5 or 4 hours? I don't know.

I really and truly hope the keep the actors that they started with. Unfortunately, they've already replaced Dumbledore, since Richard Harris died. He was a better Dumbledore, if you ask me...the new one doesn't do much for me.

The problem is, he wasn't given much of a role in the third film like he was in the first two movies. But in the second film, I hope to see an expanded role for him.

It's just that the role he played in the third one wasn't as important as his role was in the first two. We got to give him a chance, you know. But I understand how you felt about Richard Harris, only the problem is... the mold that was made to create him was broken. So it cannot be done.

Actually, the movie being clocked at 4 hours was a false rumour. It was debunked. It has been officially said that they are aiming for the movie to be clocked at 2.5 hours. Once they're done with the movie, it may be either shorter or longer than the 2.5 hours target they made. For me, I'm crossing it'll be longer than 2.5 hours.

Okay, now I understand. Well, I think it will be okay.

I give you some what I heard about cut the film.

Uncle, Aunt Dursley and Dudley will not be in film either.
I heard that Productor told us that just a 2 or 3 cut film. I have no idea yet. We got one cut already before.

I think it will not be in film by QWC. But, yes it was QWC tent on film.
Yes there will be all 4 Task Champion on film. I heard Dan's told us will be underwater! Wow! I guess that all what I think and heard enough for now. If you know and more. We happy to hear more post later.

Yes, the Dursleys are cut out of the film which has been confirmed. A bit disappointing, I'll say but I would like to see how they work around it without including them. I think it's manageable.

But they MUST be involved with the fifth film, that's for sure.

According to some sources, most of the QWC details will be cut out of the movie since it's not important to the main storyline. Yes, Dan has mentioned in a recent letter stating that he has spent the last month in a tank which is related to the second task in the novel. That's some good news, eh?

I am looking forward to the scene with the dragon which will be included.

I know you was upset about this 5th book for Black Sirius died. We missed him. That was very sad. But, it was really good book. You know what? What next? Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince! What a surprise. We heard last June 29 that what JK Rowling told use a true 6th title. There is no Harry VS Voldemort. I surprise and wonder who going to battel??? We find out. I can't wait to hear. She say that around a half way to written! I am very exciting and hard waiting for her to compete so far.
