I just read you post about your daughters situation. You've already received some replies and advice. But I wanted to send you this and I hope it helps.
I lived the first 20 years of my life able to hear pretty much like normal hearing with hearing aids. Then in my late teens and early 20's my hearing decreased to deafness. So I've spent my last 20 years of my life deaf. Then I just got my Cochlear implant a little over a month ago and I love it.
Anyway, I'm in the process of writing a small book. It's intended to help people like you and your daughter. It's just a rough graph right now. I'll put it in better structure and fix grammar later. But I just wanted to share it with you. I hope you find it helpful in some way.
