Yes it is very hot here, my husband is from a cold climate where like you it gets as cold at -30 degrees Fahrenheit. So he hates this heat...I don't like it either when it gets that hot but I am not a fan of the cold. I like it when it's between 75 - 85 degrees.

I'm really excited to take him treat or treating, I think it will be fun. I hope he likes it. And yes, that is my name!

I think that is so cool that you guys have Boxing Day there just like in England. We don't have that here. We just have Christmas Eve and Christmas Day then New Years Eve and Years Day. I'm looking forward to putting up my Christmas Tree after Thanksgiving.

It is hot here almost all year around. We get about two months of "cold" weather where you have to wear a light jacket or sweater. But mainly it's just hotter than hell...lol It's finally trying to cool off right now, it's in the high 90's which is sooooo much better than 120! The coldest I've seen it get here was 34 degrees and that was just a fluke. Normally "winter" here is around 60 something degrees. So not very cold at all. I can wear my flip flops all year around here, which I do love because that is all I practically wear. I hate shoes that cover up my toes, it makes me feel like i am suffocating. I know, I know, I'm weird. hehe

I am so excited for the holidays, this will be the first year we take our son trick or treating. And I love Christmas because I love to decorate, plus I love glitter and sparkles and Christmas has tons of that. Plus my name means Christmas in french, so all the better for me.

I have my nails done professionally and it only takes about 45 minutes start to finish and that is for a full set, with the glitter done on the tips. If I just did a full set with the glitter and just did french it would only take like 30. Whenever I go in which is about every 4 to 6 weeks, I always do a full set, eyebrow wax (b/c I'm hopeless at doing my own...lol) and get my toes done. So I am usually there for about 2 hours.

That is so great about your own exhibition! How cool is that! That bites that they painted over your work, your work is just mind blowing. I love how abstract it is in it's own way and the use of colors.

I like having the glitter nails done, have you ever done that?

I love the name Cranberry that is too cute! That is a very good name for a turkey. I wonder what he got into. Are you ready for the holidays? I can't believe they are coming up so fast. It seems like Christmas was just a couple of months ago. I think it comes sooner every years...lol

Have you ever done anything with your artwork? Like had a job in that field?

I am off to dust the house again, if I don't do it everyday it looks like the house has been abandon for years. LOL That's what happens though when you live in the desert.

Oh it's been such a super busy day but at least I got quite a bit done...and I have super cute nails and toenails to show for it...LOL What other kind of jobs are you looking at? And not that is not fair about how they promote people but I've worked in places like that, it's just not right.

Naps are fun! LOL Glad you had a great day with your boyfriend. I was really busy today. Was up at 4am, started cleaning the house at 6am, then made breakfast and cleaned up that mess...lol...then light grocery shopping, did laundry and some other chores. My husband is working on my new website and getting that ready to launch.

Tomorrow, I have to do the heavy grocery shopping, working on more photo's, website, getting my nails done, and a few other things that I can't remember right now...lol But my weekend was good even if it was a bit tiresome. Trying not to overdo it but it's hard when there is so much to be done. But I like the work and I like being busy.

Are you still dog sitting or is your Uncle back? I hope you sleep better tonight.

I've had that happen to me too...where I wake up and then can't get back to sleep. It's so annoying and leaves you so drained. I usually found it was from stress. Like if I am thinking too much about work, I don't sleep well.

I just noticed your date of birth...yours in Jan 25 and mine is Jan 14...I don't know anyone really with a birthday in Jan...that's awesome.
