People who think I care that their cousin/sister/wife/barista is also deaf. You know,whenever someone finds out you are deaf and respond with "oh, my cousin is deaf" or when a family member comes back from the store and says "we were served by a deaf person". I understand they have good...
I once got told on an online forum "You don't seem deaf"
As for people saying it in person, I have this theory that they have met who was deaf along with other noticeable physical disabilities and assumed all deaf people are like that.
