Hi I was browsing and saw the question of name signing. Here in puerto Ricos deaf community they say that you are given a name in sign in refrerance of physical characteristics. And you are given that sign.Ex. My name is Deborah and the D is placed on the right side of my upper lip do to a mole i have. Hope the info helped.
