Never too busy for a new friend...just sometimes too exhausted to remember to turn on my computer though. LOL I really hope you are doing a lot better. Is the brain injury issue any better? It's gotten to the point where I can barely hear my voice now. What I do hear is just a really annoying buzzing sort of sensation. My hubby, while no worse at this point hasn't gotten any better than that last time I was on here. He is still having problems, and it make is difficult for him with learning sign language.

I am so glad your husband is doing better at least a few months ago he was.I hope you have had the tests you needed and found something that will work for you.I lost my hearing 7 years ago overnight, am profoundly deaf, can't even hear my voice..smile..Peace to you, and I would love to have you as a friend if you will have me. I am currently recoverng from a Traumatic Brain Injury that happened over a year ago, but Im gonna be ok, smile, never surrender right? Hey guys! Sorry it's been so long since I've been back. My hubby got really sick and it got really scary for a while. He's a lot better now, so I'm feeling like I can spend more time here now.

As for the hearing aid, I am scheduled for a shitload of tests here soon. I hope I can get one for both ears.

as far as the religious discussion, I often just let things be. Sometimes I look and read something and think about putting something in - then, I wonder - what is purpose? What am I trying to do by writing that? Where does it come from? Will it change anything? Certainly I'm not perfect. But mostly I just don't worry about it. I think a lot of times people do things just because they're unconscious of what they're doing. Sometimes I am too. But I try to be less. So that includes the religious thing here.
I think the thing is, if you or anyone posts in openess, love and kindness and just go about your day, that is all you can do

FYI....just ordered a hearing aid from (coughing) Hong Kong for my wife via fleaBay.

This aid is a BTE, has enough power for profound hearing loss, uses a size 675 battery (most common) and has a 1 year warranty. I am pretty sure it is analog, which is what we are used to. Supposed to arrive the first week of January.

It is only $200, and we are going to find out whether it is worth the money or not. Seller has 110 sales, and has a 100% feedback rating, so hopefully it will work out.

This will buy us enough time to save up for a 'real' $1500 hearing aid. Will let you know.

yup, am Jewish <by birth> pagan. Jewish witch as opposed to Wiccan. The reason I PM'd you was cuz religious discussion not allowed on AD and we could share in more detail if you want. I'm personally fairly open about it and have attended public rituals.
