Lives are strewn to the curb in pandemonium.

Hands that can no longer move,
and feet too old to stand.
He sits there with his old eyes staring into nowhere.

His mind is still discerning,
Yet his body deceives his frame,
not allowing him spontaneity...

I teach Interpreter Training students, and have worked with the Deaf Community for the past 25+ years. I hope it's okay that I'm hearing... if it matters, (I don't think it does), I am Deaf in one ear, due to Ototoxic Poisoning from Meds for a severe infection while I was hospitalized.
