I was diagnosed 1 1/2 ago. I have changed my diet and I am on all sorts of meds. Do you have migraines? I developed vestibluar migraines which makes the vertigo crazy.

When were you diagnosed? I only take medication for my menieres. Changed Diet and things like that. My episodes get bad to where I am in bed for a couple days. Let me know how the injections go, Id like to know how that comes out.

    Megs:
Thanks for asking. I have a much milder case than you. My symptoms have been dormant for a couple of years. No episodes. Most of the time, I would get the full feeling, ringing, and hearing loss. I experience very little vertigo or dizziness. I guess I am fortunate.
I was diagnosed in 2000. I have been taking Dyazide since then. Once I quit smoking cigs, I have had much less problem with it. If you smoke, please stop.
I know Candybrowneyes is a better person to discuss this. She has symptoms much like you.
I wish you success on coping with this disease. Please keep me posted on what you decide, and your results.

Yea, you are right about that I am newbie on alldeaf website. Could you get like hearing aids so you can still hear? Depends how much hearing lost, you know? Sign language is really cool and I teach my hearing friends how to sign. Yeah, I hang out with hearing people mostly of the time. I hung out with deaf dude and a girl sometimes. I can understand the person if I know the person very well. I am not expert with strangers lips. When I tell hearing person that I am deaf and they usually just walk away, haha, that's fine with me.
