No problem, I don't mind helping people out. I will keep sending you things if I come across them. Also, your statement that was about the more you learn ASL the easier it is to come full circle with becoming/being Deaf. I cannot truly understand because I am not Deaf, but I can only imagine how it would be.

    Hi Meg!

Well, coping with going deaf is very hard. I won't deny it. But stick with the ASL, try and talk to people who are in the same situation as you, if you don't know anyone this site is perfect!

It will take a long time to adjust It's been nearly 4 years for me and I'm just getting used to it. I have trouble hearing too, a lot, but I guess I have adapted to it better now. It all takes time.

As far as sites that will help you learn ASL I really don't know of any. There is a site called aslpro.com that will help with learning signs, but other than that I don't know of a site that will help with ASL sentence structure. There are some books that you can buy that named Signing Naturally. Signing Naturally has three books Level 1 (Blue), Level 2 (Pink) and Level 3 (Yellow) that will help with learning some ASL. Go to dawnsign.com and if you want to purchase the workbooks, they are helpful, they are the same books I use for my college courses in ASL. But the best place to learn ASL is by going out into the Deaf community and learning it from them.
