Hiya!
Well I met with the audiologist yesterday and I got one hearing aid "on loan". It's not the power that I need, but it definitely is a new experience and even with it I'm hearing things I didn't before! It's incredible! The ones that I'm most likely going to get are (if I can get the financial assistance) Starkey Destiny 1200 (extra power) BTE aids...if it all works out. We'll see. But for now, I'm wearing a Sonic Innovation Ion...it's not very strong, but again...huge difference! yay!

i go tomorrow to the audiologist...i don't know if i'm getting a set of aids tomorrow or not, but i at least have a meeting and will have more information! (i REALLY hope that i'm getting a set tomorrow at least on loan...cross your fingers for me!) all that i was told was that i have the appointment...and they're going to get me "hooked up with something to get me by in class"...so i don't know what that means, but yeah! so we'll see! :-)

Hello Mark, I am fine considering, it is still very warm but there is a breeze today, it is still a bit warm for me, causing me headaches. I hope that you are fine and keeping well.

Hello Mark I am fine thanks, it is a pleasure to find someone on this site who comes from the uk. The weather is hot up here is Yorkshire it is 24 degrees, getting a bit uncomfortable for me.
