I think I may be in similar footsteps as you. I wore HA all my life and just lost evrything over 1000hz and don't have much below that. HA not much use anymore. I am looking into CI & brain stem implant. Would you have any advice or questions I should ask doctor. CI probably not for me due to cochlea damage.

I also lost my job and am looking into hearing handicapped jobs. You know where to start or any good sites to visit?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
