In that Rachel implant blog...cochlearimplant something...the title is "Why is it good to implant babies before 12 months" something like that...I thinik it is on page 3 or 4 in Deafread. The comments just made me literally sick to my stomach. What's wrong with these people??? If they dont want to use ASL, fine but to belittle those who use ASL...that's hypocratal of them cuz they whine about the Deaf community not welcoming them with open arms. With comments like theirs..I wouldnt!
Hey Jillo..how is it going? U shoudl check out Deafread on that CI blog...look at the comments made about Deaf people and ASL. Just big time discrimination!

Have you come in contact with any people with hearing loss who use ASL professionally? How is that experience different from working with a hearing client? If you haven't I'm not going to let you go without answering a question. What theory/ies do you base you counseling practice in and why? Sorry I'm inquisitive..But I really appreciate your experience.
