lol, u died and came back as a deaf baby!
what are the chances of that? cuz oddly enough so did i. at approx. 8 weeks, not 8 months tho. - was born a bit premature, was in the hospital for a few months. one night i stopped breathing a couple of times and "died" but i was able to be revived (obviously) so maybe i came back as a deaf baby too?

8 months old I became deaf, well, funny thing is, I did die as a baby, but as a hearing baby then I came back alive as a deaf baby. It's weird, yea.

i'm profoundly deaf (since birth, or shortly afterwards) with about an 85-90 dB loss, in both ears. and wear two HAs. were u born deaf or did u lose it later in life?
i'm always asked if i'm British, lol.

One HA. Left side. It only has 25% hearing. Means 75% loss. On my right side, 100% loss.

Only 3 years of speech thearpy and I can speak very well. People mistaken me as a hearing person, but when they talk to me, I "ignore" them. Tsk.

Are you a parent of a deaf child or are you deaf?
