First sorry it has taken me so long to answer. I am a little busy these day but never to busy for friends.. It is good that you can get a hearing aide and I have heard of the corolar inplants. but I am deaf on left and have some hearing on right. and also want to learn more signs.. It is so nice to have people to talk with and have friends that understand where we are in society.

At least you are keeping yourself busy. I am sure your digital work will look just as spectacular as your printed work. Look forward to seeing your recent work once you find time to finish them.

I completed my course in December 2011. During January, I have slowly been redesigning my web page folio, which is still not complete. I am hoping that by mid February, I can start looking for work.

I do feel quite nervous regarding job hunting, because like you said, it is a very tough area to get into. I don't know what to expect. But, hopefully 2012 won't end up being a bad year for me.

Print layout sounds interesting. Did you ever used to get nervous whenever you print your work? I tend to use a lot of effects such as transparency, so sometimes the print looks messed up. This is why I try to keep things simple.

Regarding freelance... How do you go about doing freelance work? I have seen some websites where a client makes a request for a design and states how much they will pay. Then designers will upload their work, and the client chooses the best design. So, in essence, you could spend hours designing something and not get paid. Ekkk...

One of my teachers told us how it was when he studied graphic design. Basically, he told us that during the first year, all they did was sketch/draw using pencil, pens, brushes and paper, etc. So, a lot of people in my class were actually clueless regarding graphic design; pretty much like your class by the sound of things.

I also agree, software can help you do amazing things. But, it doesn't automagically create fantastic work if one does not know colour coordination, composition, etc.

Do you convert any of your traditional material work into Illustrator or Photoshop?

Hi. For some reason, I'm unable to accept your friend request. Don't know if it is a site problem or a computer problem on my end. I appreciate the add!
